Ukrainian Geography, Bridge to Russian

Ukraine is the world's 44th largest country and is 233,074 sq miles. It is the second largest country in Europe after Russia. Both countries however speak Russian. Ukraine is somewhat smaller than the size of Texas. The landscape consists mostly of fertile plains and plateaus, crossed by many rivers that flow south into the Black Sea. Ukraine is easier to travel to because you don't need a visa like with Russia. And in Ukraine, mostly everyone, if not everyone, speaks Russian. We love to go to Ukraine. The country side is very nice. Below are some pictures from our last trip to Ukraine, 2011
